The Bishop Foley Class of 1970 will celebrate its 40th Reunion on August 14th, 2010 at the Century Banquet Center located at 33204 Maple Lane, Sterling Heights, Michigan.

WELCOME CLASS OF 1970 ALUMNI

Welcome to the Bishop Foley Class of 1970's 40th Reunion Site. A committee has been working for over 6 months making plans, but now we need your help! If you could start by clicking the survey button above and providing us with information, we will be able to keep you informed of what is going on in the coming months. For those of us on the committee, the fun has already started! Reconnecting after all these years is nothing to be afraid of....We have all gotten older looking, but inside we are all the same! It truly is exciting and a great experiance! In the coming months we will be planning some Pre-Reunion Events at local places. These will give everyone the opportunity to reaquaint prior to the actual reunion.

Below you wil find a Blog that you can use to make comments and reach out to find old friends. Feel free to use it and give us feedback.

Last but not least, if you have any old photo's let us know. We would love to post them on the site!

  4. Hi this is Dan Jenuwine just letting everyone know that the plans continue to progress nicely. The committee met again last night for 3 hours and we should have a date and location locked in soon. As you can see by the list on the right, we need some help finding some folks that are "LOST"! Visit the site often as we will continually be updating it with information, pictures, and more! Take the time to fill out the new Survey that we posted today! This is shaping up to be one Reunion your not going to want to miss! More Later......Dan

  9. Just had a great conversation with Mark Fredal. He can help us find his cousin, Greg, Mary Homrocky, Kye Yagley (his sister-in-law) and Rick Gorgan. Yay! thanks for the help, and nice to talk with you, Mark.

  10. Just updated both of the lists on the site, so as of today you can see where we are at! I had great reservations after 40 years of even wanting to get involved with people from the past, but what an absolute blast this is turning into! If you think for one minute that you don't want to participate in this...You have got to trust me...Talking to and seeing people from this many years ago is a HOOT! Nothing has changed! Same great people they were 40 years ago! So get involved now and join in the fun as we move towards our big party in August!

  12. Sitting down here in not so sunny Florida and working on the reunion. Will be updating the lost and found listing sometime in the next few days and will begin to post a photo gallery of our High School Days very soon! Pictures I have so far are like they are from the 1920's! If you have any pictures you would like to share, please email them to me at liaisonllc@aol.com and I will post them! Things are really starting to come together and we will begin regular emails and mailings to all we have found in early March. I know that some of you say you are not interested in the Reunion and I have to admit that I wasn't either when this started...but after going to the 1969 Reunion and now working on ours....I can tell you that you don't want to miss this! Let down all your inhibitions....tehre are a lot of people that would love to see you! More later...

I will be bringing a Great Selection of the best to our reunion in August for anyone that wants to celebrate 40 years with a celebratory cigar! Look forward to seeing you! Spread the word....

  24. We are saddened to have just heard of the loss of our fellow classmate John Bush. We offer our deepest condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

  25. After looking at all the old pictures that I gave to Dan, I am getting really excited for this reunion to happen. We have had so much fun planing this, though, that it will be a bitter-sweet ending. I am looking forward to seeing so many people that I haven't seen in years, like Diane Dugas, she was such a riot! So all of you that are reading this, please network for us and see how many lost Alumni you can find. The more that attend, the more fun it is going to be. We hate to have anyone not at least hear about it.
On a sadder note, I offer my condolences to the family of John Bush and to all the other families of the members of our class that have passed.

  26. Let the fun begin! We finally sent out our first email blast to about 100 fellow classmates that we had email adresses for. I have gotten responces from people I haven't talked to in 40 years and they are excited by what they read! Looks like the attendence is going to be great given the initial responce. We will be mailing the same information to those individuals we have found, but do not have an e-mail adress on file. If you have not yet filled out the survey, please take the time to do it as soon as you can! Spread the Word...and Help us find those lost souls form the class of 1970....See, after 40 years I can still put the old Catholic Education spin on it with the "lost souls" reference!

  27. Had a nice phone call from Tom Roth in Texas yesterday. He called to thank the Reunion Comittee for all the hard work they are doing and to let me know that he will be there in August! I told him the committee appreciates his kind words, but in reality, we are having all the fun! He did find Ken Varee in Alaska for us and got him the information about the website! Hello out there Ken....would love to here from you and get your contact information! Appreciate everyones help in finding the "Lost Alumni"!

  28. This is CATHY (Rourke) Zimmerman. I found myself on the "missing" list. My name is not "Catherine" but Foley always did think I should have a saint's name. I was pretty invisible in high school and most won't even remember who I am, but the pictures on this site were interesting .

  29. Hi all, This is Sally (Frechette) Seaver. Vicki Skok found me & I am looking forward to the reunion. I especially would like to see Linda Lucas since she did not come to the last reunion but I see she is on the missing list. I checked a search site & found her son. I emailed him hoping he will give her the info. Of course there are many others I am looking forward to seeing as well! To the committee - thanks for all your hard work, I've helped my husband with his reunions & I know the time it takes!

  31. I know this isn't very timely, but I would like to thant all the people who worked so hard to bring this event together. Great job!
It was good to talk several folks that I haven't seen in several years, even if I couldn't remember some of you until you told me who you were.
    I had fun.
    Thanks again.
